Privacy

This policy applies when Jiminy decides how personal information is used. When a business provides Jiminy to its customers or staff, that business may control the information and Jiminy may process it on the business's behalf. In that case, the business's privacy notice and its agreement with Jiminy also apply.

Information you provide. This can include your name, email address, company, account details, access requests, messages, and support information. A guide or support request can also include descriptions, images, video, files, and contact details that you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically. We can collect IP address, browser and device details, page and guide activity, referral and campaign information, session identifiers, error records, and similar logs. We use cookies and related technologies for sessions, analytics, measurement, and service operation.

Information from customers and integrations.A Jiminy customer or an integration that the customer enables can provide account, help-center, ticket, requester, guide, and operation information.

We use information to provide and improve Jiminy, operate visual guides, diagnose problems, respond to requests, manage accounts and integrations, protect the service, measure use, communicate with you, and comply with law.

Jiminy uses Google AI services to analyze relevant guide, image, video, support, and product information when a feature needs that analysis.

We share information with vendors that help us host, store, secure, analyze, and operate the service. These include Google Cloud and Google AI services. Our site also uses Google analytics and LinkedIn measurement tools, which can receive device, usage, and identifier information under their own terms.

We can share information with a Jiminy customer and with integrations that the customer enables, such as its help-desk provider. We can also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the business.

We keep information for as long as needed for the service, security, legal duties, dispute resolution, and our customer agreements. The period depends on the type of information and why we hold it.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Read more on our Security page.

Jiminy and its vendors can process information in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other places where they operate. Where required, we use contractual or other legal safeguards for international transfers.

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Jiminy does not currently respond to that signal. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings and can disconnect an integration through the connected service. Blocking cookies can affect how the service works.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to certain uses. These rights can have legal limits.

To make a request, email hello@usejiminy.com. If Jiminy processes the information for one of our customers, we can direct the request to that customer.

Jiminy is not directed to children under 13. Minors should use Jiminy only with the supervision and permission of a parent, guardian, school, employer, or other responsible organization.

We can update this policy as Jiminy changes. We will post the updated policy here and change the date above. If a change is material, we will provide any additional notice required by law.
